The following features have been removed from the language:
- Sequential arrays may no longer be explicitly mapped;
- In any procedure call in which distributed data may require
redistribution, the procedure must now have an explicit interface;
- The treatment of the INHERIT directive has been
simplified in that it is no longer possible to specify both
INHERIT and DISTRIBUTE together.
- The treatment of pointers has been simplified.
